In French Polynesia, a partnership between Lyzi, an application dedicated to cryptocurrency payments, and DinoVox, the first Polynesian Web3 company, now simplifies cryptocurrency transactions for local merchants. This collaboration aims to attract cryptocurrency enthusiast tourists from around the world, by offering conversion to local currency without requiring merchants to directly manage these assets.

Paying with cryptocurrencies in Bora Bora

A partnership between Lyzi, a mobile application allowing cryptocurrency payments, and DinoVox, a Web3 metaverse type environment based in French Polynesia, now allows merchants in the overseas community to accept payments in cryptocurrencies.

In collaboration with several exchange platforms, including Binance, Lyzi provides an infrastructure that allows its users to pay for their purchases with their favorite cryptocurrencies almost instantly.

With this system, traders do not have to directly manage cryptocurrencies, sincethey receive the equivalent in French Pacific francs in their bank accounts within 24 to 48 hours.

On this occasion, Damien Patureaux, general manager and co-founder of Lyzi declared:

“Lyzi has identified with French Polynesia a natural territory of development and growth, rich in a population open to innovation. Through this partnership, Lyzi and DinoVox hope to attract a share of the 500 million cryptocurrency users worldwide in order to promote tourism in French Polynesia.
